Keilor Life Activities Club was formed in 2005, to help meet the needs of the increasing number of our population over 55 years.
The Club was started by volunteers and continues to operate with a dedicated group of senior volunteers, wanting to make a difference to the lives of retirees, those soon to be retired, and even some still working in our area.
A phrase we frequently hear from our members is “you have no idea what this club means to me”
…We do know, because it has made a big difference in our own lives as well.
Our “home” is the Keilor Sports Club, Old Calder Highway, Keilor. Every Monday we set up table tennis, and tables for board games, cards and craft activities.
Once a month we have a fun club day with trading tables, raffles and each month on another Monday we have a speaker. Our members are waiting for us at 10.00am, bring their lunch, we serve tea and coffee and we have to turn out the lights to get them to go home!
The Keilor Sports Club has plenty of parking, public transport to the gate and all is on level ground making is easy to walk.
